Professional Bio
Michael A. Staffieri is a graduate of Brigham Young University with a B.S. in History. Michael also received two master degrees: one from Cal State Fullerton in Public Administration and another from the American College (Bryn Mar, PA) in Finance. Michael has been in the financial industry since 1978 and has earned designations as a: Registered Financial Planner (RFP®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), and Accredited Estate Planner (AEP®). As Chairman, Michael lends his 40 plus years of experience to the leadership of Rovin Capital.
Personal Bio
Michael grew up in Fullerton, CA, is married to the former Marilyn Black, and has 3 sons, 3 daughters, and 18 grandchildren. Michael grew up with a passion for athletics, particularly baseball. He was an All-American Shortstop at Brigham Young University (BYU) before signing with the Cincinnati Reds. He was also voted Senior Athlete of the Year at BYU and was a recipient of a NCAA Post-Graduate Scholarship.
Michael now spends his free time golfing, traveling, and most importantly playing with his grandchildren. He has served on the board of numerous organizations and foundations and currently serves as a trustee and investment committee chair for the Seacology Foundation (Seacology.org), a non-profit focused on island cultures and environments. He is also a member of the Athletic Leadership Council for BYU.
