By trade, Dave is an engineer, holding a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the prestigious Lehigh University in Pennsylvania. Upon merging his firm, Midas Financial, with Rovin Capital (“Rovin”) in 2021, David Dietz took on his current position as President of Portfolio Management at Rovin. Prior to building Midas Financial, Dave spent over 30 years of working for Fortune 500 companies in various leadership positions as an operations expert specializing in lean production and manufacturing. This “Main Street” background gives him a unique perspective and understanding of the issues facing clients who are in or come from s corporate background. As an avid investor since 1985, options strategy specialist, manager of various extended family member investment assets, and graduate of NYU’s prestigious Certified Financial Planning curriculum, Dave has the “Wall Street” knowledge to excel in portfolio management.
